Whats the difference between a Gift Certificate and a Coupon Code?

Coupons

Coupon codes are created only by Pilatesology for special offers. For example we may offer a limited coupon during the holiday, or for a special event, workshop or equipment promotional.

  • Coupon Codes are entered in at the time of registration and is located just above the option for payment. Click the link "Have Coupon Code?" to expand to a space to enter the code.
  • Coupon Codes typically extend the free trial.
  • A credit card is required even if you have a Coupon Code
  • After the Coupon terms have ended the subscription automatically rolls into a paid recurring subscription plan.
  • You cannot use the Gift Certificate in the Coupon Code space and vise versa, you cannot add a Coupon Code to the "Redeem" Gift Certificate page.
  • Coupon Codes have no monetary value.

Gift Certificates

A gift certificate is an item that is purchased by a friend, family member etc... as a gift to someone else to enjoy Pilatesology. The Gift Certificate is emailed to the recipient after purchase.

  • There is no credit card linked to a Gift Certificate subscription.
  • There is no recurring billing.
  • Gift certificates can only be redeemed with the link provided in the recipients email or here.
  • After the Gift Certificate subscription has expired the member has no obligation to continue.
  • A Gift Certificate member may become a paid subscriber after the Gift Certificate has expired by following the steps at login and selecting an unlimited, recurring paid plan.
