Why are videos playing in the wrong language?

If your device or internet browser is set for another language (to use a language keyboard for example), our videos will automatically play in that language.

To fix this, please go into settings on your device & browser, remove any additional languages and set to default the language you want videos to play in. Here's instructions:

1) Check your device's language settings:

1. Access settings: Click the "Start" button, then navigate to "Settings".

2. Find language options: Select "Time & Language" followed by "Language".

3. Choose your language: Select the desired language from the list.

4. Add new languages: If your preferred language isn't listed, click "Add a language" to search and install it.

2) Check your browser's language settings:
To change the language in your browser, do the following:
Google Chrome
1. Open Chrome
2. Select the three dots in the top right corner
3. Select Settings
4. Select Languages
5. Under Preferred languages, select More next to the language you want to use
6. Select Display Google Chrome in this language
7. Restart Chrome to apply the changes

Firefox

2. Click Options

Safari
1. Access the Mac language settings to change the language displayed in the browser

You can also change your language preferences in your Google account:
